November 1, 2023 – Ohio State University is the proud recipient of two new Trimble Technology Labs that aim to help the next generation of talent gain hands-on experience with the latest technologies in construction and agriculture.

“In recent years, farming and construction industries have faced crucial labour shortages and skilled labour gaps,” said Trimble’s Jim Chambers. “With the added technology in these labs, we’re looking to not only attract the next generation of agriculture and construction professionals, but we hope to attract a whole new subset of students looking for technology careers […]”

The labs provide students with access to leading technologies used by industry professionals today. With added hands-on learning opportunities, these labs aim to help a greater number of students prepare for future careers. In the inaugural year, more than 1000 students will have access to the labs for courses dedicated to the next generation of construction and agriculture careers.
