July 30, 2013 – EBMag recently attended the launch of the instructor training pilot of EVITP (Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Training Program) Certification for Canada, which provides a nationwide standard for the professional installation of EVSE (electric vehicle supply equipment).

In this video, Carol MacLeod (NETCO executive director), Eryl Roberts (NETCO treasurer & CECA executive secretary) and Bradley Watt (IBEW Local 353 education coordinator) explain the importance of NETCO bringing EVITP certification to Canada to ensure EVSE remains in the hands of electricians—where it belongs.
