Oct. 3, 2018 – BlockMaster Electronics has expanded its Jelly Beans line of terminal blocks for electrical distribution applications. The new modular JB6 blocks feature multiple colours to help prevent costly field wiring mistakes.

Terminating the wrong wire to the wrong terminal can damage components and create safety hazards. Inexperienced installers can easily mix up low and line voltage connections in the field.

With the JB6 series, low-voltage (LV) connections can be made to a green terminal block, for example, while other colours can be used for other types of voltage control. To further simplify field wiring, BlockMaster also offers screenprinting to mark the blocks with alphanumeric characters.

The thermoplastic-moulded blocks are available in white, red, blue, green, orange, yellow, purple, brown, grey and black. They are wire-ready, with raised screws for 12 to 22 AWG, and are rated for 20 A and 300 V.
