14MW Sunny Shores Green Energy Solar Park is live

December 23, 2015 – Oakville Hydro Corp. (OHC) and Spark Solar Group Inc. (both Ontario-based) announced the finalization and grid connection of Sunny Shores Green Energy Solar Park—a $50-million, 14MW ground-mount solar project located in Picton, Ont.

Spark Solar developed the Sunny Shores project and oversaw construction on behalf of OHC. Spark will maintain and operate the facility for OHC through its affiliate Northwind Solutions. The grid-connected project links 46,584 photovoltaic solar panels on 58 hectares, and is expected to generate over 16 million kW of power.
