2012 FTTH Conference & Expo opens Call for Papers – deadline extended!

February 1, 2012 – The Call for Papers is now open for the 2012 FTTH (Fiber To The Home) Conference & Expo scheduled for September 23-27 at the Hilton Anatole, Dallas, Texas. The deadline for submission has been extended to March 23.

Organizers predict approximately 2000 attendees will gather for the “most comprehensive FTTH learning program anywhere”, including independent telecoms, municipalities, competitive broadband providers and consulting firms, among others.

In addition, this year the FTTH Council is targeting content and application creators leveraging the bandwidth delivered by FTTH to provide futuristic services – today, it added.

Abstract Guidelines
Abstracts should be a maximum of 500 words, without pictures, and must be commercial free. The abstract should describe the primary conclusion or results of the paper including pertinent details of the work indicating the significant findings. Learner outcomes must be included. Papers must contain significant new material not presented or published previously. CLICK HERE for details.

The Council has added a new pre-conference learning program with 2 new tracks: Future FTTH Technology Research, and an FTTH Starter Kit Program for industry newcomers. As a conference speaker, individuals will have the opportunity to share insight, perspective and opinion with other professionals in the field.
