August 16, 2011 – Appleton now offers a “versatile” line of tray cable connectors engineered for use with TC, ITC, PLTC and other commonly-used types of tray cable which it claims features a compensating displacement seal that provides ingress protection to NEMA 4X and IP68 standards, allowing use in highly caustic or harsh environments. The connectors also provide a seal insert that lets each gland terminate the broadest cable range available in a single hub size, it adds. Manufacturered in aluminum, stainless steel and nickel-plated brass, the new connectors come in trade sizes ranging from 1/2-inch to 4-inches.
