Beacon Products says it has introduced the lighting industry’s first complete, broad-based collection of indirect and diffused direct LED street, area and landscape lights: the Contemporary LED Collection, which comprises five models. The collection is made from low-copper, marine-grade cast aluminum. Lenses are sealed, tempered clear or prismatic glass, or acrylic. Stainless steel fasteners, standard or tamper-resistant, hold the lenses to each light body. Units meet IP66 ingress protection standards and are cUL listed. The LEDs achieve greater than 70% retained lumens after 50,000 hours, says Beacon, while LED driver life is 100,000 hours at 25ºC. A range of standard and custom finishes may be specified.
