July 4, 2011 – Broan has expanded its offering of Energy Star qualified ventilation fans with the introduction of the QTRE080C2S Ultra Silent Select-Air Ventilation Fan. The new QTRE080C2S is customizable and can be wired with either one or two function controls to meet a homeowner’s specific needs, says Broan, adding that the low setting achieves a constant flow of 40 CFM, and the boost mode increases the flow to a full 80 CFM maximum ventilation. The company also boasts that the fan is at less than 0.3 sones in normal operation mode and 0.8 sones in boost mode. Additional features include: 4-inch ducting, HVI Certified, and motor engineered for continuous operation.
