Canada’s MSR Innovations offers SolTrak residential solar roofing
September 16, 2013 By Anthony Capkun

September 16, 2013 – MSR Innovations—a Burnaby, B.C.-based supplier of residential solar roofing—is bringing a new solar roofing product to the North American marketplace: SolTrak
SolTrak incorporates polymer roofing tiles with integrated solar cells and a proprietary track mounting system that allows tiles to be snapped into place without any tools. Tiles can be easily replaced, says MSR, so the solar system can be expanded or repaired with minimal effort.
The company says SolTral was recently granted UL1703 certification, providing assurance to home builders and owners that the system generates electricity safely for residential use. Additionally, Class C fire testing has been successfully completed, and Class A fire testing is imminent, adds MSR.
