On Wednesday, June 16, Info-Tech Research Group (in association with IT World Canada) will announce the winners of "The Quest for Canada’s Smartest & Greenest IT Department" at a gala event in Toronto.
“The event is the culmination of a four-month quest across the country
by the research firm to seek out and celebrate IT departments that are
using technology in smart and innovative ways to drive value for their
customers, employees and communities,” reads the press release.
The event aims to recognize the "day-to-day heroes of IT”—members of the Smartest or Greenest IT in Canada Class of 2010. The gala event will be held at the Steam Whistle Brewery in Toronto,Ont., from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm. CATA, Think Green Alliance,
Sustainable Waterloo and Ottawa Centre for Research and Innovation
(OCRI) have sponsored the program.
