August 23, 2011 – ComCables, a Denver-based structured cabling solutions manufacturer, is releasing its high-performance patch cables at the 2011 BICSI Fall Conference in Las Vegas, Nev. According to the company, the patch cables are 100% tested to ensure performance, feature a high-density, snag free boot design, include in end-to-end channel performance guarantee, and are ETL Verified and UL Listed.

“With the onslaught of counterfeit patch cable issues leading to system failures, comCables is ensuring 100% of our high-performance patch cords perform at TIA standards levels, 100% of the time,” said Andy Work, director of product management at comCables. “That’s why each one of the patch cables is tested before they’re packaged and delivered.”

These patch cables are the first product to be unveiled in the new comCables Ultimate product line, which will feature high-performing products, while comCables Premium line will offer products that meet or exceed Standards at value prices, said the company.

CIP Training and Program
In addition to the patch cables, comCables is now offering its invitation-only Certified Installer Training and Partner Program at the Fall BICSI Conference. ComCables said it worked with BICSI master instructors to develop an intensive, two-day training program that covers telecommunications Standards 568, 569, 606, 607 and 758 and NFPA 70 (NEC) and NFPA 780 (Lightening Protection), where the training will teach proper techniques for planning, placing, terminating and testing, and will provide 13 CEC BICSI credits.
