August 30, 2013 – Eagle Eye Power Solutions has developed two new load bank models—LB-24/48-300/600 and LB-24/48-600—for acceptance, discharge and battery testing and maintenance, as well as other testing for DC power, with load up to 600A. The load banks can be parallel connected for a larger discharge range of 1200A. Each one promises smart technology to monitor the system and cell during the discharge test. The LB-24/48-300/600 and LB-24/48-600 load banks are especially useful for telecom facilities, says Eagle Eye, where 24/48V battery systems are common. The company’s load banks come with an optional DAC package that allows the voltage of each cell to be wirelessly recorded and displayed during discharge.
