Eaton expands automatic transfer switch line with 1600A bypass isolation contactor

April 30, 2013 – Eaton has extended its automatic transfer switch (ATS) product line to meet the emergency power needs of commercial, industrial and mission-critical applications. The new 1600A bypass isolation contactor is equipped with dual ATS technology; it supports concurrent maintainability through automatic control in the bypass. Eaton says its transfer switches are reliable, rugged and versatile assemblies for transferring essential loads and electrical distribution systems from one power source to another, and qualify for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) credits.
