March 6, 2024 – British Columbia-based E.B. Horsman & Son has promoted James O’Kane to Interior district manager, where he will oversee the distributor’s Penticton, Kamloops, and Vernon locations, and collaborate with the branch teams.

With two decades of experience in the industry, O’Kane originally joined EBH & Son in January 2021 as the Vernon branch manager.

“Under his stewardship, the Vernon branch has witnessed exponential growth—a testament to [O’Kane’s] unwavering commitment and expertise,” said the company, adding that O’Kane will work with Jeff Janzen and the Interior branch teams “to ensure a smooth transition”.

With over 30 years of experience in warehousing, Chris Crockart has been named manager of “Distribution Centre 2” (DC2) in Edmonton. He started with EBH & Son in 2018 as shipping supervisor, then moved into receiving supervisor before becoming the BC distribution centre manager.

Kyle Irving has been named the new manager for the BC distribution centre. Irving started his career with EBH & Son as a material handler. In 2021, her transferred to the Surrey branch to serve as warehouse supervisor.
