February 14, 2024 – E.B. Horsman & Son is opening a new distribution centre in Northwest Edmonton, reaffirming its “commitment to better serve our customers across Western Canada”.

“Our new Edmonton distribution centre is a big step for us,” said Tim Horsman, president & CEO. “This expansion underscores our dedication to providing exceptional service to our customers, and further strengthens our presence in the Western Canadian market.”

The new DC triples EBH & Son’s warehouse capacity, thereby enabling expanded product availability, improved delivery times, and better customer support.

Customers in Edmonton, Calgary, Dawson Creek, Cranbrook, and Saskatoon will now receive product overnight.

Meantime, the paperless warehouse management system (WMS) is designed to “optimize and streamline the operations” by eliminating paperwork and manual processes.

The warehouse will feature a customer pick up area, priority desk, and project staging capability, and is expected to open May 6.
