EFC’s scholarship program provides university and college students who are interested in pursuing a career in the electrical industry with funding to support their academics. The program is sponsored by numerous manufacturers and distributors operating in Canada.

“The electrical industry offers strong career development opportunities, competitive salaries and benefits, plus aggressive careers paths in a sector with cutting-edge innovation,” said EFC’s John Jefkins.

The program also offers the opportunity for students to engage directly with EFC member companies, added Jefkins.

Students can apply at scholarship.electrofed.com. The deadline is May 31, 2021.

Electro-Federation Canada is a national, not-for-profit industry association representing over 217 member companies that manufacture, distribute, market and sell a range of electrical products in Canada.

For all scholarships, preference will be given to those applicants with a connection to an EFC member company, and who are pursuing post-secondary education in a discipline that aligns with a career in the electrical industry, such as:

• electrical engineering
• electrical technologist
• electrical technician
• industrial distribution
• sales, marketing, finance, human resources
• management operations, logistics
• information technology
