August 18, 2020 – Electri-Flex Co. says its Liquatite conduit types LA, ZHLA and CBLA now conform to C22.2 No. 56-17 Annex A “Heavy-Duty” (HD), a designation which requires liquidtight flexible metal conduit to pass additional tension, cold flexibility, connector compatibility and crush testing.

These Liquatite products join type CSA, which already meets CSA Annex A “Heavy-Duty”. Only conduit trade sizes 1/2-in through 4-in. qualify for the HD designation.

Type CSA is a general purpose, flexible steel conduit. Type LA is general purpose, flexible steel conduit for protection against wet and oily conditions. Type ZHLA is a low-fire hazard solution conduit, offering halogen-free, low smoke, and low flame spread properties. Type CBLA is suited to computer rooms and data centre installations.
