Ontario’s Electricity Distributors Association is hosting its next EDIST (Electricity, Distribution, Information Systems, Technology) Conference & Exhibition January 16-18, 2024, at the Hilton Toronto/Markham Suites Conference Centre.

The event is an educational conference and exhibition addressing engineering, operational, IT, and management issues faced by Ontario’s local distribution companies.

This year’s theme “Taking charge: electric utilities are leading the energy transition” focuses on the necessary technologies, innovations, and strategic thinking to support the energy transition across Canada and beyond.

The event will bring together industry professionals, researchers, technology experts, and other stakeholders to discuss the critical challenges and unique opportunities associated with the changing energy landscape. With a comprehensive program, EDIST 2024 aims to explore the latest advancements that will enable electric utilities to take a leading role in driving the energy transition.

Call for Papers

Local distribution companies and their partners are invited to submit an abstract for a technical presentation on unique and innovative solutions already delivering value for local customers, that also aligns with the conference theme.

The deadline to submit your abstract is September 8, 2023.
