Registration is open for the 2023 annual general meeting of the Canadian Section of the International Association of Electrical Inspectors, being held September 22-24, 2023, in Halifax.

This will be the first in-person Canadian Section AGM since 2019.

“We have added a stellar line up of industry professionals to our agenda that will provide an array of diverse technical and educational sessions,” say organizers.

The technical sessions include:

• Integrated system testing
• Managing the (cyber) safety risks of smart homes
• Electrical fire investigations, electrical failures, electrical forensics
• Electric vehicle energy management systems
• Field evaluation and energy storage systems—a certification perspective
• ESS and the CE Code
• Electrical hazard classification (CSA Z462, 2024 ed.)
• Special-purpose GFCIs
• Short-circuit current and the CE Code
• Approval markings
