Today, EBMag attended the convention of the Canadian Section & Ontario Chapter of IAEI (International Association of Electrical Inspectors). It was great to see all the familiar faces and, more importantly, absorb all the knowledge that can be found at an IAEI event.

Another nice thing about an IAEI event is its neutrality; meaning, it does not matter whether you’re a union or open shop electrical contractor, and delegates tell me this is a great organization for forming stronger relationships and exchanging ideas between those who design and do the work, and those who inspect it. Mark your calendars now for IAEI’s next Canadian Section convention, being held September 20-22, 2013, in Saskatoon.
