GammaTech developed the D14RM rugged notebook tested “using military 810G specification to insure protection against drop, shock, spill and dust,” says the release. The notebook has a magnesium alloy case and a spill-resistant keyboard, touchpad and switches. It also includes an input/output port rubber cap and security features such as TPM 1.2 technology, finger print technology, and a smart card reader. It is powered by Intel Core 2 Duo processor, compatible with Windows 7 and comes with a 14.1” WXGA display and LED lighted keyboard. It has four USB ports, a HDMI port, and other optional features such as a touch screen, built-in webcam or internal GPS.
