January 25, 2012 – Great American Group, a provider of asset disposition, valuation and appraisal services, is currently running an online auction to sell solar panels previously owned by Tucson, Arizona-based Solon Corp. The online auction runs 9 a.m. (MST) Monday, Jan. 23 until noon Thursday, Jan. 26.

According to Roy Gamityan, a senior vice president and auctioneer with Great American Group, the auction includes solar-panel equipment manufactured between 2008 and 2009.

“With the global demand for high-quality solar processing equipment increasing, we expect a large amount of national and international interest in this online auction,” said Gamityan.

Auction items include two 2009 Swiss Solar System Models 3S Laminators (process for both crystalline and thin film photovoltaic (PV) modules) with a capacity of up to 100 MW each, a 2008 REIS robotics automated framing module (75 MW), three REIS 6 axis robots and a REIS framing station.
