November 9, 2011 – Eclipsall Energy announced that Joao Figueiredo, an international business executive with “expertise in launching businesses and expanding them worldwide”, has joined the Eclipsall Group of companies as CEO of Eclipsall Solar.

In 2011, the Eclipsall Energy Group became a vertically integrated solar company by adding an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) division: Eclipsall Solar. The company also has a project development and financing division: Eclipsall Development. The Eclipsall Energy Group has currently in excess of 400 MW of projects under development in North America, South America, Africa, India and Europe.

Prior to joining the Eclipsall Group, Figueiredo held a senior position with a European multinational focusing on renewable energy, specifically in the solar photovoltaic (PV) sector. He has worked in all major European, PV markets and has most recently led business development efforts and negotiations for EPC activities in the Ontario market.
