October 4, 2011 – Halco’s new ProLume F49T5HO lamps promise to reduce energy consumption by more than 9% and save $13 over the lamp’s life while maintaining nearly equal light output of a standard 54W lamp. They are rated for 24,000 hours and have an 86 CRI (colour rendering index). Producing up to 4900 initial lumens, these reduced-wattage linear fluorescent lamps promise 95% lumen maintenance. The TCLP-compliant lamps are suitable for high-bay retrofit applications, and are available in 3500K, 4100K and 5000K. When installed with a new ProLume ballast, they have an extended warranty of three years.
