March 16, 2012 – Hyde IBS, a producer of industrial knives and blades for various markets, is asking its customers uncover their Hyde blade applications, and provide an answer to the following question: “What’s your App?” No, it’s not a strange new pick-up line, but rather the name of its latest contest which will award ten participants with an American Express gift card simply by sharing their unique Hyde blade applications.

“Our customers are the reason behind our success at Hyde IBS,” said Eric Pfeiffer, director of marketing at Hyde IBS. “By hosting this contest, we hope to acknowledge our customers¹ spirit of innovation, and also recognize our founder Isaac Hyde for starting a company that, for 137 years, has served such a wide array of industries. Many of these industries have been and still are the backbone of American manufacturing.”

After submitting an answer, customers will be entered into a random drawing for one of ten $100 American Express gift cards. The contest runs from March 1 – May 31, 2012, and the winners will be announced June 15. Participants will be judged on their response to the question and uncommon use of Hyde IBS products.
