July 16, 2019 – Magic Lite, which provides architectural and specialty lighting products from a central warehouse in Burlington, Ont., recently appointed Ian Smith vice-president (VP) of business development.

Smith has more than 30 years’ experience in sales and project management. He has worked with a variety of companies in the lighting and controls industry, including Acuity Brands, Lumenpulse Group and Douglas Lighting Controls, and has run his own sales agency.

Further, Smith is lighting certified (LC) with the Illuminating Engineering Society of North America (IESNA). In his new role, he will lead Magic Lite’s national sales team, which works with distributors across Canada.
