January 21, 2015 — Ideal Industries has announced the appointment of Dag Nyhof to the position of general manager of Ideal Industries (Canada) Corp.

“We are pleased to bring Dag Nyhof to our senior team in Canada as we enter a very critical time in our company’s history,” said Nick Shkordoff, vice president of Electrical, North America with Ideal Industries Inc.

Effective as of January 5, 2015, Nyhof will be located at the Canadian head office and manufacturing facility in Ajax, Ontario.  “I am excited to be joining the Canadian team and helping to add to the successes they have enjoyed,” he said.

Nyhof joins Ideal from Medeco Canada, a division of Assa Abloy, where he held the position of general manager, leading all aspects of the Canadian business from 2010. He also previously held the position of director of sales with Pepsico.
