IEEE invites you to 1547 standard revision workshop

October 29, 2013 – IEEE is hosting a workshop addressing the full revision of 1547 “Standard for Interconnecting Distributed Resources with Electric Power Systems”, and is inviting public utility commissions (PUCs), utilities, manufacturers and independent power producers worldwide to New Brunswick, N.J., December 3-4, to help shape the direction of the revised standard.

From collaboration in the December workshop, SCC 21 will develop a request to launch an IEEE working group to complete a revision of 1547 by 2018.
