May 12, 2021 – IPEX has expanded its distribution capabilities in Canada with the grand opening of distribution centres in Winnipeg and Dartmouth, N.S.

“Expanding our warehousing capabilities is integral to our customer-first culture,” said Travis Lutes, president & COO, IPEX. “It’s a priority for us to continue to deliver an exceptional experience for our customers, and we do this by ensuring our customers can get what they need from us—when they need it—so they can get their jobs done.”

These new DCs are modern, larger buildings, says IPEX, that replace two smaller locations in both regions.

The Winnipeg distribution centre is a new build and “significantly increases” both warehousing and onsite yard space. The Dartmouth DC has almost doubled in size, and also now provides yard space for additional storage.

These openings, says IPEX, enable it “to improve service by bringing more products closer to customers and end users”.

An Aliaxis Company, IPEX provides a range of thermoplastic piping systems in the municipal, irrigation, electrical, telecom, plumbing and mechanical sectors.
