Iriss releases 2nd ed. 10 Things You Need to Know About Infrared Windows

November 28, 2013 – Iriss, a player in the industrial infrared (IR) window market for energized electrical inspections and safety, has released the second edition of 10 Things You Need to Know About Infrared Windows.
A primary focus of this book is to educate businesses and their electrical personnel so they can perform safer, more efficient electrical inspections resulting in increased reliability. The second edition is pocket sized with notes pages and features a new bonus chapter on installation considerations for IR windows. Additionally, it includes information on new IR window lens materials, a transparent polymer that allow for IR and visual inspections of energized electrical components. Other chapters include IR window applications; how to calculate transmission rates; installation procedures; and risk assessment.
