Philips CrispWhite LED claims to set new light quality standard

November 28, 2013 | By Alyssa Dalton

November 28, 2013 – Philips’ CrispWhite, which debuted at Lightfair International 2013 in Philadelphia, Pa., claims to be the first retail LED light solution able to make whites appear pure and bright, while simultaneously presenting deep, vivid colours.

The solution is designed to be integrated into track heads or recessed downlights for accent lighting, and is available with lumen packages of up to 4000 lumens and a 90+ CRI. Philips says it has set a new standard with its breakthrough LED recipe using an optimized light spectrum that offers consistent light quality for a convincing, attractive display of merchandise in retail stores. CrispWhite is now available in three forms: Philips LED lamps, Philips LED modules, and Philips luminaires.
