ITC adds outdoor industrial Geos enclosures

June 5, 2019 – Master distributor ITC Electrical Components of Concord, Ont., has introduced Geos enclosures—manufactured in Germany by Spelsberg—designed for outdoor industrial applications.

The double-insulated polycarbonate enclosures reportedly provide ultraviolet (UV) resistance, impact resistance of IK 09, ingress protection (IP) rated at 66 to 67 and an operational temperature range from -35 to 60 C. Their Bel-Air system uses ventilation to mitigate water condensation on the interior.

The cUL-listed enclosures are available in five sizes, with a solid or transparent cover. A variety of accessories and mounting systems are also available.
