April 2, 2024 – OmniCable—a redistributor of wire, cable, fiber, and other products to distributors—has promoted Jim Walsh to sales manager for Toronto.

“Jim has been a vital member of the OmniCable Canada team and has made significant contributions to growing our Canadian business from day one, creating and growing customer relationships, and mentoring the Canadian team,” said Ian Rand, regional manager, Canada.

Walsh has over 40 years of experience in the electrical industry, and has been with OmniCable for five. Most recently, he served as Toronto account manager.

In his new role, Walsh is responsible for overseeing and managing the Toronto-based account managers, and continuing “to drive revenue growth within key accounts and new markets”.

Walsh says he is excited about the company’s future, adding he is “particularly enthusiastic about the company’s expanded communications portfolio and potential expansion into new markets”.
