NEMA publishes ICS 10-2010 Part 3 Safety Bulletin

The National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) published the ICS 10-2010, Part 3 Safety Bulletin: NEMA Safety Considerations for Residential Transfer Equipment and Residential Transfer Switches.

The guide was developed by NEMA’s Industrial Automation Control
Products & Systems Section Technical Subcommittee on Transfer
Switches to identity “important safety considerations for residential
use of transfer switches,” says the release. In specific, it explains
the types of transfer equipment for residential application and
selection criteria.
