December 19, 2018 - The Weidmüller Group, which develops industrial power, signal and data products, has promoted Terry Hodgson to executive vice-president (EVP) for North America and president for the U.S.

Hodgson began his career with Weidmüller more than 17 years ago as a sales representative in Alberta and rose to regional sales manager for that province and the U.S. Midwest. For the past 10 years, he served as managing director of the company’s Canadian operations in Markham, Ont.

In his new role, he will support managing directors Javi Richmond in Canada and Stefan Schreiber in Mexico and report to executive board member and chief marketing and sales officer (CMSO) José Carlos Álvarez Tobar. His primary focus will be on sales, marketing, engineering, manufacturing, profit and loss (P&L) and operations within the U.S. market.
