Platinum Tools’ Cat6a flex connectors now shipping

October 4, 2016 – Platinum Tools’ new Cat6A flex connectors (106220 non-shielded, 106230 shielded) are now shipping.

The company says the product accommodates Cat6A & Cat7 up to 9.0mm and 26-222AWG conductors and that it works with both solid and stranded conductors. It also features machine-precision-set contact height, is Cat6A 10gig certified—frequency rated to 1GHz and can flex 90 degrees down and 45 degrees up.
