June 25, 2019 – Platinum Tools is now shipping its PoE+ 10-GB shielded RJ45 field plug.

The product is designed to optimize data throughput to devices, is compatible with a variety of large cables and conductors and features a cast-metal shell to provide end-to-end shielding from extraneous noise interference in high-bandwidth applications.

The 70.2 x 17.9 x 14-mm plug is HDBaseT PoE+, UL, RoHS, ISO/IEC, ANSI and IEEE compliant. It is compatible with Cat7/6A/6 cables with S/FTP or F/FTP shielding, stranded or solid and 26 AWG to 23 AWG wires. No special crimp tool is needed.
