Positron Access Solutions, a player in “enabling high bandwidth over copper pairs (asymmetric/symmetric MIMO-on-DMT technology)”, has appointed Bruce Hammergren to vice-president of sales for North America.

Hammergren, a 30-year veteran in the telecom industry, will spearhead
the sales growth of Positron’s Aktino bonded-copper solutions, which
deliver 100Mbps ethernet services over copper infrastructure.

“Positron’s Aktino bonded-copper product family is clearly the right
solution at this time of exploding ethernet bandwidth requirements for
businesses, LTE wireless cell sites and to enable high-speed residential
internet access,” said Hammergren. “This is an exciting time for me to
come on board and bring the Aktino solution to customers across North
