PRODUCT RECALL – eShopic recalls 105W compact fluorescent bulbs

January 11, 2012 – The Electrical Safety Authority (ESA) is notifying the public that eShopic Inc. (USA) has announced a voluntary recall of its 105W compact fluorescent bulb. Consumers are advised to stop using the recalled products immediately.

Hazard: The affected product has not been certified as compliant with the Canadian Standards for product safety and is therefore not approved for use in Ontario and Canada. At this time, no incidents or injuries have been reported.

The product was distributed between July 2010 and May 2011.

Consumers should disconnect and stop using the affected products immediately and return them to eShopic Inc. (USA) at Unit 5, 251 Amber Street, Markham, Ontario, Canada, L3R3J7, for a full refund including return shipping.
