September 13, 2016 – Transport Canada has become aware of a Ford recall involving the 2014 Transit work van due to a malfunction with the door latch.

The pawl spring tab in the side door latch could break, Ford says. This condition typically will prevent the door from latching. If the door is able to close, it could be partially latched and unlatch while driving, the company explains.

Dealers will replace all four door latches to fix the issue.
