GE’s Electrical Distribution business provides complete solutions for residential, commercial, industrial, institutional, utility and original equipment manufacturer (OEM) applications. As a member of GE Industrial’s Global Projects Team, you will provide customer service and project order management, and be directly involved in exciting large projects with the Oil and Gas industry.

 

Drawing on your technical and
commercial expertise, you will participate in the development and growth
of the electrical distribution and control business with industrial
users, engineering and procurement contractors, as well as engineering
consultants and OEMs.

Responsibilities include, but are
not limited to:

• Leading project management
reviews with end users and EPCs as well as relevant GE business teams

• Owning all
commercial and technical aspects of relevant projects through the
execution phase

• Providing
Sales and Technical support for selected projects

• Pre and
post-order support, which includes entering orders, responding to
technical inquiries, assisting customers with product selection

• Reconciling
billing and interfacing with the Finance team

• Expediting
and conducting shipment pre-negotiations

• Preparing
drawings for approval

• Resolving
product service issues

• Managing
receivables and authorizing returns


We are looking
for Candidates who have/are:

Advertisement
• University Degree in Electrical
Engineering

• 3 to 5 years
of experience in a similar role or experience in industrial construction
industry

• Experience
and technical knowledge in electrical distribution products

• Customer
Service focused and able to communicate effectively with internal and
external customers

• Strong
technical skills and proficient in MS Office applications

• Strong
interpersonal, analytical, problem solving skills

• Detail
oriented as well as a multi-tasker

• Motivated for
Innovation, Desire Challenge and Success, and Results Oriented
