October 21, 2011 – Schneider Electric has announced the availability of its electric vehicles (EV) charging solutions for commercial, fleet and residential markets. Features of the charging solutions include automatic recovery and re-start after ground fault interrupt or main power loss; available as wall/pedestal or single/dual mounting units; option to have advanced metering functionality to collect and monitor energy and demand profile data. The charging solutions are compatible with all plug-in hybrid and all electric vehicles built per SAE standards, notes Schneider.
