October 20, 2015 – Searching for Canada’s competitive advantage in manufacturing was the theme at a recent Ivey Idea Forum we attended, where leaders such as Siemens Canada’s Robert Hardt and Linamar Corp.’s Linda Hasenfratz shared their thoughts on what Canadian manufacturers already do well and what more can be done to give us that global competitive edge.
The panelists discussed everything from product and process innovations to tax breaks and where to find the next generation of skilled workers and corporate leaders. Here we present just a few of their thoughts. (For more on this event, check out the Editor page in EBMag October 2015.)
