Sentinel corrosion shield for cable glands from CMP Products

March 13, 2018 – The Sentinel corrosion shield from CMP Products is a rigid mechanical protection device that encapsulates the cable gland to provide a high-integrity seal.

The device seals the interface between the equipment and the gland for both threaded and clearance holes. The outer environmental seal engages the outer sheath of the cable, providing a barrier to moisture, dust, corrosive substances and chemical agents that may attack the gland.

Because no special tools are required, inspections are easily undertaken; you simply disconnect the corrosion shield to inspect the gland. Sentinel promises long-term reliability of cable terminations. It is fully resistant to potash, UV and salt spray, and is supplied with clearance hole and threaded entry interface seals.
