Sonepar Canada announces recipients of inaugural family scholarship program

March 12, 2025 – Sonepar Canada launched an initiative to provide $2,500 annual scholarships to eligible dependents of full-time Sonepar associates. The first four recipients of the inaugural scholarship program are:

  • Pascale Dionne, related to Steeve Dionne, outside sales rep (Lumen, Victoriaville)
  • Gabrielle Croteau, related to Caroline Vézina, project manager (Sonepar, Laval)
  • Taylor Toris, related to Paul Toris, lighting specialist (Aztec, Concord)
  • Rafia Khan, related to Mohammed Khan, credit manager (Texcan, Surrey)

“This is an excellent opportunity to support and promote educational achievement and give back to our local community […]” said Sonepar Canada president George McClean. “We are excited to offer this program to our Sonepar associates and their families.”

Scholarships are awarded based on the student’s need, and current and future contributions to the community.

“Congratulations to the winners. We wish you continued success in your educational journey and beyond,” McClean added.
