January 24, 2019 – Wire and cable producer Southwire Canada, headquartered in Mississauga, Ont., has promoted Karim Parbatani to director of retail sales.

Parbatani (pictured) has three years’ experience with Southwire, most recently as manager for tools and assembled products, and was previously a product development manager at Globe Electric for two years. In his new role, he will be responsible for contractor equipment and consumer electrical product sales development in the retail channel across Canada.

Southwire has also hired Sundeep Bumbra as director of distribution sales. He joins the company from Anixter, where he served as industrial product manager.
