July 14, 2014 – The TP-Link RE200 AC750 Universal dual band Wi-Fi range extender is designed to extend the coverage and improve the signal strength of an existing wireless network, specifically in hard-to-wire areas, says the company.

The wall-mounted range extender is designed to work with any Wi-Fi router and is compatible with 802.11 b/g/n and 802.11ac devices, allowing users to expand the total range of their 11ac networks and enjoy 802.11ac speeds of up to 750Mbps. The RE200 offers simultaneous throughput of up to 300Mbps for 2.4GHz networks and an additional 433Mbps wireless transfer rate at 5GHz. Additionally, the built-in ethernet port allows the range extender to function as a dual-band wireless adapter to connect wired devices, including TVs, set-top boxes, game consoles and Blu-ray players.
