November 29, 2013 – Ushio America’s Solid State Lighting Group has launched its LED MR-16 series—Uphoria—featuring its Cool-Blade heat sink design where 48 aluminum cooling blades draw heat away from the LEDs.

At 6.5W in a standard MR-16 form factor, Uphoria LED lamps incorporate Cree LEDs and are designed to replace higher wattage halogen MR-16 lamps. The lamps are available in flood (35°) and wide flood (60°) beam spreads and in warm white (3000K) or daylight (5700K) colour temperatures.
