November 28, 2013 | By Anthony Capkun

November 28, 2013 – Next week, Kestenberg Siegal Lipkus LLP is presenting its 18th Annual Fraud & Anti-Counterfeiting Conference, December 4-6 in Toronto, Ont., and should be considered a must-attend event for anyone with an interest in intellectual property protection.

Among the speakers is Lorne Lipkus (in photo), international anti-counterfeiting expert, who you’ve seen on CBC’s documentary, “Counterfeit Culture” and in our own studio with his video: “ Condoms, Pickles and Circuit Breakers have WHAT in Common?

Among the organizations supporting this conference are Electro-Federation Canada, CSA Group and the Canadian Anti-Counterfeiting Network (CACN).

The conference doesn’t fool around when it comes to IP protection, with the first session on Day 1 addressing fraud and anti-counterfeiting investigation and prosecution head-on. other sessions include discussions on civil enforcement (e.g. cease & desist letters, court orders), best practices for running an internet investigation, and so much more.
