June 16, 2011 – BC Hydro has awarded CD Nova Ltd. of Burnaby, B.C., representing RFL Electronics, Inc. of Boonton, N.J., with a five-year contract for teleprotection equipment for use on its transmission lines.  

The award is for the GARD 8000, a technology microprocessor and DSP based unit with expanding communications and functional modules for relay and teleprotection systems, said CD Nova, adding that the award was the result of rigorous testing and evaluation in the BC Hydro labs.

CD Nova is a Vancouver-based manufacturers representative/distributor with offices in Calgary, Edmonton, Toronto, Montreal and Halifax.
